It's the most 'boo'tiful time of the year if you like scary delights and cool crisp air (and everything pumpkin-flavored). 21 News has compiled the lists for all fall events and Trick or Treat times by county and community. FALL EVENTS

6th Annual Mahoning Avenue Fall Fest:Oct. 1, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., between Steel Street and McKinley Avenue in the West Side's historic Garden District. This year’s fest will feature a host of family-friendly activities, including Trek Coffee House – Sneak Peek and Samples; Corn Roast; Pumpkin Patch; Baked Goods; Antique Sale; Flea Trash & Treasure Sale; Arts & Crafts; Music Jam Session; Paisley House Garage Sale; Rocky Ridge Neighborhood Association Cotton Candy. Hackett’s Pub and Casa Ramirez will give away Fall Fest 6th Anniversary commemorative pint glasses free with a beverage purchase (while supplies last). This year will have a pumpkin patch, and Trek Coffee House will have free samples.

The 46th annual Boardman Rotary Oktoberfest: Sunday, Oct. 2, Boardman Township Park, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. $5 admission fee for anyone 12 and over. Free parking near Southern Blvd entrance. Shuttle service from the Southwoods parking lot. For more information, click here.

Spookataculr Halloween Drive-Thru in Boardman Park: Oct. 17-Oct. 31 from 5-10 p.m. Drive-thru and see light up holiday hauntings, and tune your radio to 88.9 FM to hear music that matches the theme.

Friendly Squares Halloween square dance:Saturday, Oct. 8, from 7:30–10 p.m. at the Niles SCOPE Center, 14 E. State St., Niles. Costumes are encouraged but not required. The Wickyards:711 Wick Ave Youngstown, is hosting a Haunted House Attraction entitled "Nine Lives," an immersive, unique storyline filled with plenty of scares that all ages can enjoy inside a historic home. 7-10:30 p.m. (last admission) Fridays and Saturdays in October. Stambaugh Auditorium:Sunday, Oct. 30th, 4 p.m.: Showing the 1925 silent film ‘The Monster’ starring Lon Chaney with live organ accompaniment. The Addams Family Returns,A Halloween Organ Event:Oct. 29th at 7:00 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 30 West Front Street in Downtown Youngstown. We will hear a dramatic reading from the works of Edgar Allan Poe and the annual singing of several Pumpkin Carols. Halloween costumes are recommended as there will be a Costume Parade at this event.

Penguin City Beer:460 E Federal St., will be showing the 1975 classic cult phenomenon “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” with audience participation on Sunday, Oct. 29, 9 p.m.: We will be showing the feature on our large 300-inch TV and Rebel Rescue will be selling the party favor prop list bags to participate in the film. (Proceeds from the sale of bags go to Rebel Rescue Ranch, a nonprofit animal rescue) DJ Spruce will be spinning some Halloween tunes starting at 7 p.m. and following the movie. That 70s Spooktacular Car Show at Springfield Local High School:Sunday, October 9 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Featuring national drag racing standouts, Tom and Ryan Martino of Martino Motorsports with their top dragster on display. There will be activities including a trick or treat session and plenty of cars, bikes and trucks to see.

Youngstown Police Department Halloween Event:The event will be held at Cardinal Mooney High School (2545 Erie St., Youngstown) from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. rain or shine. There will be candy and games for kids and their families.

Youngstown Playhouse Trunk or Treat:Sunday, October 23 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Youngstown Playhouse (600, Playhouse Lane, Youngstown). There will be 20 decorated trunks and everyone will be given a ticket to vote on their favorite design. There will also be a free costume contest in which contestants can get their pictures professionally taken by Kelly Mckee-Foos Photography and posted on the Youngstown Playhouse's Facebook page, where users can vote for their favorite costume. The winner will receive a 2022-23 Flex Pass to the Youngstown Playhouse.

South Range High School Trunk or Treat:Car show and Trunk or Treat at South Range High School until 6:00 p.m. Saturday, October 22. Hosted by the Spirit Club.

Movies @ Maag Presents: "Victor Frankenstein," Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 6:30 p.m., on the lawn between Ward Beecher and Maag Library on the YSU campus.

The Millennial Theatre Company,B&O Station Banquet Hall, 530 Mahoning Ave, Youngstown, presents the immersive production of "The Rocky Horror Show" coming to the B&O Station Banquet Hall Thursday November 3 at 7 pm, Friday November 4 at 7 pm and midnight, and Saturday, November 5 at 7 pm and midnight. Dark on Park: Saturday, Oct. 8, 6–10 p.m.: Show will be opening Saturday, Oct. 8, 6–10 p.m. at Art on Park (180 N Park Ave., Warren, Ohio 44481). Free admission, live music. Open to works in all mediums and styles that deal with subjects of the dark, morbid, surreal, bizarre, and beautifully strange. Any artwork meant to be hung must be wired and ready to hang. Artists can submit up to three works with no fee to enter. Come out and support the arts. 100% of all sales of artworks go directly to the artists.

The Perkins Family Ghost Walk 2022:Oct. 14, 15, 21, and 22. Guided tours every 15 minutes, starts at 6:30–10 p.m. Presented by the Fine Arts Council of Trumbull County and the Trumbull County Historical Society, Ghost Walk is a historic walking tour that begins each night at 6:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, located at 256 Mahoning Ave., N.W. in downtown Warren, Ohio, Guided tours leave every 15 minutes from the church parking lot and will include stops along Warren's historic Millionaire's Row, where actors will portray the restless spirits of people who once lived in Trumbull County. The last tour departs the church parking lot at 9 p.m. Cookies and refreshments will be offered as upon your return to the church. Adults are $10 at the door, and children 12 and under are $5. Niles Artisan Farmers Market: Sunday, Oct. 23, Noon to 5 p.m., 434 Robbins Avenue. Free petting zoo, face painting, and twisted balloons, along with Halloween surprises.

11th annual Trick or Treat event at St. Thomas the Apostle Church:4453 Warren - Sharon Rd, Vienna. Individuals or groups can sign up to decorate a table and provide candy to the little ghosts, goblins, and princesses. All you have to do is register by Oct. 14. Decorate the table & hand out your candy to area children. Donations of candy or monetary support would be appreciated. For information or to register, call 330-394-2461.

Niles Halloween Parade:Sunday, Oct. 30. The parade will begin promptly at 1 p.m. Registration is not
required, participants entering a float should line up at McKinley High School, starting at noon.
All spectators should line up on Main Street, from Federal to State.

4th Annual Fall Festival and Special Needs/Disability Resource Fair:6954 Chestnut Ridge Rd., Hubbard, Noon-3 p.m. Activities include trunk-or-treating at the various vehicles and resource tables, checking out first responder vehicles and interacting with first responders, therapy bunnies, checking out motorcycles and other vehicles, a basket auction and a 50/50 raffle. The Haunting on Lakeview Drive: Tuesday, October 25 from6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Cortland Public Library. Teens in grades 7-12 can celebrate Halloween with food, crafts, a costume contest and a movie (rated PG-13). Free and no registration required.

3rd Annual McKinley Memorial Halloween Party and Pumpkin Walk:Saturday, October 22 at the McKinley Memorial Library and Museum (40, N. Main St., Niles) from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will be trick-or-treating in the museum, a carved pumpkin walk in the courtyard and along the grounds, a magician, cider and cookies on the grounds, story time, a book giveaway, face painting and a photo op in the library.

24th annual “Trick or Treat” at Eastwood Field in Niles: Wednesday, Oct. 26, 6–8 p.m. Children age 12 and under. Ticket quantities are limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Children and adults will require a ticket. Tickets are $1 each and are available starting Friday, Sept. 23, at the Scrappers Team Office at Eastwood Field. In addition, anyone that donates canned goods at the “Trick or Treat” event for Feed Our Valley will receive a free general admission Scrappers ticket valid during the 2023 season. Back for the 2022 Trick or Treat event is the “Fast Pass.” The “Fast Pass” is only available for the first 100 kids, includes admission for one child and two adult tickets, and allows you to skip the line and get in at 5:45 p.m. for only $10. Those that purchase the Fast Pass will receive a wristband upon purchase.

Phantom Fall Fest begins Kennywood’s 20th year of Halloween, fear kicks into gear on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, plus two new bonus Thursday dates, October 20 and 27.

Cedar Point 25th annual HalloWeekends runs Thursday nights, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, through Oct. 30. Daytime activities for kids are available Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays only. For information on the full HalloWeekends offerings, guests can visit halloweekends.com.

The Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield has a long alleged history of paranormal activity and offers ghost hunts all year. Those brave enough can visit Escape From Blood Prison on weekends through Oct. 30.
